I was at the theater this Friday to see 'The Woman King' and I was so excited to see the trailer for 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody'. It looks like it is going to be good and I can't wait to see it. The Woman King was beautiful and it made me cry twice. It was so great to see strong beautiful black women of all shades on the big screen working together to bring this amazing story to life. I loved the music and the dancing and I was moving in my seat and chanting along with them. I hope everyone gets a chance to see this movie.
I watched Whitney grow up on television. I was a fan of her aunt Dionne Warwick. I heard her sing the song about the children. I knew that song. It was also song by Peblo Bryson. She sang it with ease. I think the name of the song is "Hero". I don't know for sure. I believe that children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Something like that. Anyway she was just a kid when I heard her sing that song. I became a fan of hers from there. Yet I can not believe all these movies about her. It is crazy. People just making money saying all kind of craziness.
